Summer Solstice Celebration!
The summer solstice falls on Wednesday, June 21st, it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and a time to celebrate the golden sun and the abundance of this juicy season! Colorful flowers bloom all around, hedgerows start brimming with wild berries, flavors are fresh and exciting and adventures call out our names. Here on the homestead, we are tending the plants and gardens and everything is growing so quickly! We have gathered and dried many botanicals this month, including nettles, spruce tips, red clover, lemon balm, spearmint, lavender, and elderflowers. It is a gift to connect to the land in this way and to be able to use the freshest ingredients for our creations to share with you....
